Payment Details

All purchasers are via our secure payment provider, PayPal.

You do not need a Paypal account to purchase from our site. Once you checkout, you’ll be taken to the secure Paypal site where you can either sign into your Paypal account or provide your Credit Card details.

Delivery

Delivery costs will be determined by weight. Heavy or larger items will be priced individually upon request or by means of collection only (on heavy items).

Orders up to 2KG will be sent via Royal mail and all orders above 2kg will be sent via courier all items will need to be signed for upon delivery. However, should you request that your delivery be left without a signature this will be done entirely at your own risk and we would not be held responsible for any claim for loss or damage.

Delivery times will normally be dispatched between 2 -7 working days. We will email you to let you know when your order has been dispatched.

Note: We only deliver to mainland UK.

Delivery and packaging will be charged at cost. Prices are calculated by weight heavy or large items will be priced individually upon request, or collection only.

Delivery will be to the buyer’s premises only.

Returns and Refunds

At Lavender Hare our products are unique and genuine, and do show signs of age as all have been salvaged from work and home environments. All our items will have that careworn look and will no means look new.

All goods sold at Lavender Hare are covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.

You have 7 days during which time you may cancel your order. To cancel your order you must notify us in writing within the 7 Day period from the day you received the goods to receive a refund. However, postage/delivery costs on items will be deducted.

Goods must be returned to Lavender Hare within 14 days after the date of receiving the goods, for a refund provided that the goods are returned in the same condition that they were sold, including all original packaging materials.

It is the responsibility of the customer for the cost of postage/carrier for any returns/cancellations.

Receipt of Goods

We will do our upmost to package dispatched items to ensure they arrive in good condition. However, goods must be inspected upon delivery. Should there be any damage or shortage you must notify us within 24 hours via e mail. In addition damage should be noted on the delivery note when signing for the goods. Goods signed for as being in good condition when received cannot be returned as damaged. Please check before you sign.

Failed Delivery

If a parcel should be returned to us with the wrong/ incomplete address or they were unable to obtain a signature, then it’s the customer’s responsibility for the cost of having the item re-dispatched.

Collection in Person

We are happy for you to collect in person for the heavier/larger items we are located in Herriard, Hampshire. Please contact us to arrange collection.
